a term used for unimportant variables in programming when the programmer is too lazy to think of an actual name.

foo.cat;
an audio-visual experience inspired by minimalism, modularity, indeterminacy, improvisation, and collage.

Under the alias of foo.cat, I created a song a day for the month of May, based on a score of randomized parameters including instrumentation and key. Each song was composed through improvisation according to the randomized instructions with the addition of a looper and an assortment of pedals, and recorded live in one session.

These were originally released as a series of videos on Instagram, and are available as an album in four volumes on Bandcamp.
